Turbo is a USC thesis film production that is written, directed and produced by Jarrett Lee Conaway. This film was made in 2007. Jarrett Lee Conaway was chosen by Steven Spielberg to participate in “On The Lot” as being one of the top 18 filmmakers. It was aired in May of 2007 on FOX.

This high action-packed movie is a mix of video gaming like International Karate (Commodore 64) and Tron-alike movie special effects. This movie has many fighting scenes.

Synopsis of Turbo

In this story, Hugo Park (played by Justin Chon) is a profound player of a 4D fighting video-game called Super Turbo Arena. Pharaoh King (Jocko Sims) announces a special tournament on the Super Turbo Arena and invites Hugo to be part of his pro team. Hugo decides to have a look at the arena on his way to the bank.

He takes up a fight against another fighter and loses the match. He realizes his skills are not sufficient to win the tournament. He lost the money for the rent and his brother Tobias, a former kick-boxer, got angry with Hugo for messing up. Tobias got handicapped in his last match. He is now in a wheelchair.

Hugo takes up a job to pay back what he owes to his brother. He is out of money to participate in the tournament. What will he do next? How will he be able to go and to win the tournament? Watch it and find it out in this exciting action-packed science fiction movie.
