MacGyver Reloaded 2016 Series!

Macgyver is a TV series which I love to watch.

Packed full of action and adventure, it even satisfies the nerd in us with the physics and chemical theories. After a day of hard work at the newspaper or when I return from a mission, I need some relaxation and fun, then it is time to watch MacGyver.

The hero of the story, Macgyver, Mac, as his team calls him, always manages to get himself and his partner Jack out of the many scraps and dangerous situations they are in.

Merely by using his tools, his brains and whatever materials they find around them. (Dr Fard knows all about brains and will be delightful in explaining you all the little details you ever wondered you wanted to know)

Can you believe in the side streets, in laboratories, even a school and an office. Everyday’s stuff like a pen can be turned into a weapon or a needle for Mac’s use based on his ingenuity and knowledge of the weirdest stuff on earth.

Season 1 was aired and as a major fan, I couldn’t wait for Season 2, which started airing from 29 September 2017.

I was watching Episode 3 on 17 October 2017 (a repeat of the episode aired on 14 October). There was a moment of aha when I spotted a flaw in the storyline.

The mission for the day was to go undercover into a casino trying to track down diamonds, which will be traded for a weapon of mass destruction (WMD) by a terrorist group.

So Mac, Jack and Cage have a suitcase full of radioactive stuff, which Mac intends to release into the strong vault. Mac managed to open the vault using the “??” theory. Well, I cannot remember the name of the theory, but it made a big hole in the door of the vault.

Note the big hole, that’s where the flaw is going to be.

They opened the door by brute force and put in the suitcase with just seconds to spare.

The bomb exploded and the 3 of them escaped unscathed, with not so much as a cut, nor even a bruise.

After that they highlighted time and again how dangerous the vault is, after the explosion because of the radioactive materials.

When the bomb exploded, they were just outside, not 300 meters away from the vault, with a big gaping hole and radioactive materials leaking out from the hole and they are unhurt? hmmm…

Is that an overlook by the creator?
